November has been the first month is a long time when I hardly worked. Apparently people have been surprisingly healthy and not much extra work that has required that I work. So, I have read instead. A lot!
I have been trying to get to the bottom of my NG pile and now I'm on 91% thanks to hard work and some DNF's. My goal a little while ago was to get to 92% this year. But I think I have to make it 95% instead. Then again only today have I gotten 2 mail from publishers about books on NG that they think I should read. I'm so weak...
I've read 43 books. Included some short stories (7), graphic novels (3) and 2 DNF's. I did DNF's several more books on NetGalley also, but I thought it was no point in writing about them here since I was going through them to see if there were books worth of reading. I had a period when I requested book without much thought about it besides that I could get free books so there were some books that now afterword I'm a bit confused to why I requested at all. Romance, sport wtf?
Best book: Northwoods
Biggest surprise: Northwoods (blew me away)
Biggest disappointment (excluded DNF's): Luther and Katherine
Best cover: The Silver Witch
Worst Cover: Second Street Station
